​Named after the large, old-growth oaks that are sprinkled throughout this community, Embarcadero Oaks is a pleasant neighborhood in Palo Alto. It is made up of a mixture of different housing styles including modern ranch homes, grand Tudor Revivals and Monterey Colonial styles. ​Best known for its annual Christmas Tree Lane, a brightly colored event that lights up Fulton Street for a couple weeks around Christmas time with trees and several displays, the neighborhood really comes alive during this time. Additionally, this community is close to several locally renowned schools including Castilleja School, Walter Hays Elementary School, and Jordan Middle School.
